Action For Children Sunday, 11th July

Your gifts for Action For Children will be gratefully received today in the envelopes provided.   If you are a taxpayer, then making a gift aid declaration will increase the value of your gift by 28% (at no further cost to you)  and we would encourage you to do so to maximise the benefit to the charity.   The envelopes will be available again next Sunday should you wish to make use of them then.

 The Listening Place Market Stall

Have you any items which you could donate to our Market Stall on Saturday 17th July in aid of The Listening Place?  Bric-a-brac, books, CD’s, nearly new clothes, plants and cakes are all needed to stock the stall.  (It would be appreciated if non-perishable goods could be collected as soon as possible)   We have plenty of video tapes, so these are not needed !

Please contact Sue or Doug Buttimer (Tel: 01725-512581) to arrange collection.

 Action For Children Fundraising

There will be a special event on Wednesday 22nd July – our annual coffee morning and sale will be held in the hall whilst the children (weather permitting) will be in the garden.  Come and see them at play, and aid the local partnership work with Action For Children in supporting activities with parents and toddlers.   Donations of cakes may be made to Wendy Edginton, and gifts of bric-a-brac items will be gratefully received by John Cotton.     The young mums will also be able to sell their own goods with a percentage benefiting the charity.

A young man working intermittently at Boscombe Down seeks occasional accommodation in this area.  Contact Michael Riddick '01980 664013.  Mob: 07917 759301
