Something
caused the horse to rear up.
Asbury often got a good soaking, through accidents, fording rivers, and braving
thunderstorms.
He would ride on until he found a homestead where he could dry his clothes, and
sometimes his precious books too.
Then he would use the opportunity to pray with the family.
